Who We Are

A warm family story… fuelled by tea, biscuits, and a whole lot of teamwork.

Back in 2013, Pete was busy working for a very well‑known company in Horsham, spending his days installing, sweeping, and pampering wood‑burning stoves like they were VIP guests. If a stove needed love, Pete was there — usually powered by tea and an unreasonable number of biscuits.

Then came January 2018, when life threw a spanner in the works and Pete was made redundant from the job he adored. But did he crumble like a dropped digestive? Not a chance. Being HETAS Qualified, a Certified Installer, and a man who refuses to be defeated while there are still biscuits in the tin, Pete decided to go solo.

And that’s how Horsham Fires & Flues LTD was born — a proper family business from day one.

The Family Team

This isn’t just Pete anymore. Oh no. We’ve levelled up.

Our 17‑year‑old son, who qualified as an installer at just 16, now works alongside Pete. He’s basically the future of flues — enthusiastic, skilled, and already frighteningly good.
Our 14‑year‑old trainee son is right behind him, learning the ropes, asking all the right questions, and keeping everyone on their toes.

And behind the scenes? Mum, running the paperwork, organising the chaos, and making sure the boys don’t accidentally schedule themselves into three places at once.

Together, we’re a true family business, and we’re ridiculously proud of it.
